Brentwood Bay Resort
Cassy kicked off her wedding day by getting ready with her bridal party & mother at Brentwood Bay Resort in Victoria, BC. As soon as I arrived, I immediately noticed the excitement was palpable! Even in the midst of hair and makeup, Cassy and her bridesmaids laughed together as she prepared for the ceremony ahead. Between the emotional exchange between Cassy and her mother, and the reactions the bride and groom had to the gifts they’d chosen for each other, I knew I was in for a treat with this couple!

Just outside downtown Victoria, Church and State Winery boasts both a picturesque outdoor wedding ceremony area and elegant indoor spaces in case of inclement weather. It’s one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the area, and for good reason! Cassy and Graham exchanged their vows with stunning views of the vineyard soaked in sunshine. It was a seamless combination of rustic charm and modern sophistication that matched their vibe as a couple perfectly. (Speaking of the sunlight– if you plan to have your ceremony at this stunning location, consider getting your guests cute umbrellas to keep cool since the outdoor space is in the open.)
Documentary Style Victoria Wedding Photos
Cassy and Graham were completely in the moment for their big day, and they wanted wedding photos that reflected that. As an adventurous and content-loving bride, Cassy was 100% on board with every creative suggestion and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Graham is especially proud of his family’s vintage 1963 Lincoln Continental (they fixed it up especially for the couple’s big day) so it was a no-brainer to incorporate it into the gallery! The car combined with the couple’s elegant attire created the perfect marriage of vintage and modern. Who doesn’t love the image of newlyweds driving off into the sunset together?
Victoria, BC Tent Wedding Reception
Following their ceremony and bridal portraits at the winery, Cassy and Graham headed to her family’s home for a tent reception. The laughter and smiles in their images were completely authentic; this couple genuinely enjoyed their wedding day! From the custom car-inspired cookies to Cassy surprising Graham by icing him during the garter tradition, every detail of their reception was a reflection of the fun they have together. Dancing, drinks, and even a few tears of joy filled the evening they shared with their friends and family.
