Jasper Park Lodge: Jamie and Matt's Beautiful Wedding Celebration
Jamie and Matt's love story began in November of 2018, but it was a long and winding road before they finally found each other. Their journey was filled with chance encounters, shy glances, and missed opportunities, but fate had a way of bringing them together in the end.
It all started at Beulah Alliance Church, where Jamie had been attending with her family since 2017. Every Sunday, she and her mom would line up at the coffee bar before the service, and one day, Karen spotted a "tall, good-looking guy" staring at Jamie in the coffee line. Karen made sure to let Jamie know, but despite several more Sundays of eye contact between Jamie and Matt, they never spoke.
That is, until November 23, when they both attended a young adults worship night at the church. Matt's friends were trying to convince him to go talk to Jamie after the service, while Jamie's friends were doing the same for her. After an hour of trying to catch each other's eye from across the room, Matt finally mustered up the courage to approach Jamie, despite the fact that she was surrounded by six friends.
Unfortunately, Jamie was on her way out the door to go home (she's usually in bed by 10), but that didn't deter Matt. Later that night, he reached out to Jamie on social media, and they started talking. The following weekend, they coincidentally found themselves at the same pub on Whyte Ave, where they were able to talk for the first time.
From that moment on, Jamie and Matt were inseparable. They spent countless hours getting to know each other, exploring the city, and enjoying each other's company. It didn't take long for them to realize that they had something special, and they quickly became each other's best friend and confidante.
Fast forward to August 2021, and Jamie and Matt were tying the knot at the beautiful Jasper Park Lodge. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged heartfelt vows and celebrated their love with a beautiful reception. It was a day that they will never forget and the perfect way to begin their new life together.
